Bucks guard Michael Redd will continue his yearly holiday volunteer service in the Milwaukee community today by buying and helping to distribute 150 Thanksgiving meals with the House of Peace, a Capuchin ministry (1702 West Walnut Street, Milwaukee) for families in need.
This will be the eighth straight year that our 11-year Bucks veteran has donated Thanksgiving meals to the Milwaukee community. Registered families will receive the holiday food baskets and turkeys at the House of Peace between 2:30-3:30 p.m.
That’s what we like to see! Someone helping Milwaukee both on and off the court.
Mr. Redd, Milwaukee thanks you.
Hold on, Liza Minnelli was scheduled to perform in Appleton, Wis.?
Gay icon Liza Minnelli cancelled her concert for the October 22 Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, Wisconsin today.
The 64-year-old Minnelli has reportedly been diagnosed with bronchial pneumonia and was forced to cancel seven of her upcoming performances.
And while she’s “greatly disappointed” about the whole situation, the former addict Judy Garland’s daughter expects to be back on stage Nov. 20 in Staten Island, N.Y.
Thank God.
Because for every day Liza’s not on stage, a gay cherub loses its wings.
Minnelli’s tour features material from her new CD, “Confessions.”

Hey kiddies — This is what happens when you drop out of your extra-curriculars and start experimenting with drugs.
Burning Man, that’s what. You end up a dirty hippie driving around in Black Rock City NV, wondering what ever happened to that college football scholarship you could have gotten if you hadn’t started smoking weed back in the eighth grade.
Now remember, kids - Marijuana users are the worst criminal scum on the planet and deserve to rot in prison with rapists and murderers (unless, of course, they live in one of these fourteen U.S. states or the District of Columbia). So next time you’re in the mood to temporarily forget how shitty your life is, why don’t you consider doing so through the harmless effects of your old friend alcohol instead?
But talk to your parents first - they’ll be glad that you did.

In commemoration of Burning Man which just ended this past weekend, and Packer Season which begins its reign of terror this Sunday, I actually just thought I’d post this amusing photo of the Green Bay Burners. That’s all.
