This is a photo of Athletic Field in Milwaukee, Wis. which was renamed Borchert Field in 1930. The Brewers played here until 1952 when County Stadium was built. This photo was taken sometime between the year 1900-1911.
I really love the awesome ads painted to the brick walls. Those are classic names in the Mil. Gaffney’s, Blatz, Edelweiss…
